We had an excellent experience with everyone we encountered at Affordable Home Care. Even with last minute changes they were easy to reach, quick to respond and had great solutions. The care my mom received from Christina was fantastic. Debra helped out in an emergency and she is absolutely top notch! Alice took mom to a doctors appointment one day and was a total life saver. They are all well trained, so patient and kind. The emailed reports after every visit and app are a fantastic help for family far away!

Most of the aides are really friendly and do a great job with my mom. I'd recommend this company for anyone looking for a solution that lets your loved one stay in their own home for as long as possible.

We have been using Affordable Home Care for my mom for the last 2 years and they have been great! They do for her the things she has trouble doing for herself: meal prep, laundry, cleaning, and their service has allowed my mom to stay in her home instead of going to a retirement community. They are professional and take the utmost care with your loved one.

Shannee has been an outstanding patient attendant for Joe. He has so many additional losses in addition to the progression of his dementia (loss of vision, functioning of hands, and hearing). Most recently, his caregiver was emergently wisked to another county to get the rehabilitation she needed and to be near her family. This left him very along and without his support. Shannee stepped up to the plate and provided a warm and accepting attitude, tolerated his loose thoughts and need to be in his home so he could carry out his "routines". Moreover, Shannee has had some personal issues in her life yet continued on adhering to this schedule and keeping Joe safe. Kudos to his RN, Glenda Knight for creating a personalized care plan, so Shannee could maintain his standard of care in his home while he adjusted to 2 months of being alone. With her help, he is safe, well cared for and making good adjustments while his wife heals. Thanks Shannee & Glenda!!

Alicia L has been my assistant for 10 months and has become very dear to me. She is always faithful to my personal care as well as helping with shopping, and many household chores that I am not able to do or else need assistance with them.My children do not live close to me so they too are so pleased that Alicia is the person who was assigned to me. She is a very caring reliable helper and always conscientious in any thing that she does to help me. I love her and appreciate her being here for me! Thank you for assigning her to me.

I nominate Yvonne W from Affordable Home Care as Angel of the Month.. In receiving her her help while recovering from arm surgery, She arrived on time, stuck to the weekly routine that I established, was trustworthy to shop for groceries and paper products in a timely manner. She also washed and dried my clothing/bedding at the laundromat. Besides all this, she helped me prepare food for cooking, cleaned my apartment as well as anticipate things that I may have forgotten about in the course of completing my weekly routine. She went above and beyond, assisting me with dressing and bathing as needed and always asked if I needed anything completed before leaving my apartment. K Waters 12/18/18

I would like to nominate my brother's caregiver, Asherah, as Angel of the DECADE!! She has lovingly cared for my disabled brother for 12 years now. She is patient, kind, gentle, smart as a whip, responsible, diligent, persistent...I could go on and on. She has been a Godsend to my family and I don't know what we would do without her! The only reason I haven't nominated her before now is because I didn't know such an award existed. A shout-out as well to Greg and Austin Adair and their team who have advocated for my brother in difficult circumstances to make sure he gets the care he needs. My family is SO very grateful!!!!!

I knew Affordable Home Care was a good organization based on my work with then as a Director at the Area Agency on Aging 1-B, so I turned to them when our family members needed 24 hour care. The administrators and direct care staff were great to work with, very professional. They provided loving care to our parents, who referred to Affordable staff as sweethearts. The staff coordinated care with hospice staff, and were a great relief to the family caregivers. We will always be grateful to the Affordable staff who cared for our parents in their last days, and gave them everything they needed.
